Jl. Gatot Subroto Toward Semanggi will Be Widened

‎Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. will widen Jl. Gatot Subroto toward Semanggi, South Jakarta, in front of TNI AU Headquarters.

We will widen the road up to four meters with 200 meters long

Road widening will be done to unravel the congestion in surrounding areas that affected by Pancoran Flyover project construction.

"We will widen the road up to four meters with 200 meters long. Road widening is start from Pancoran traffic light," said Heru Suwondo, Head Division of Overpass and Intersection, Jakarta Bina Marga Dept., Wednesday (4/5).

Jl. Halim Perdanakusuma Proposed to Be Widened

According to him, road widening in the location is decided by his team and Polda Metro Jaya's Traffic Directorate evaluation result. Not only the road, but sidewalk around the area also will be widened.

"Sidewalk still exist, but not as wide as before. We will provide the remaining space for pedestrian," he expressed.

He hoped with this road widening, traffic flow in the location could be back to normal. Particularly road widening that will be constructed can accommodate as wide as two four-wheeled cars.

"We will start the construction this week," he closed.
